How to find a knowledgeable holistic doctor?

Someone who can advise about proper vitamin regimens for both adults and children that actually is reliable and knowledgable and thorough?
Northern NJ area.
How does one go about finding this information.
Either in person or via phone/skype.
Someone who is cautious not to overdo "natural remedies" or recommend things that don't have approved recommendations but has the knowledge to recommmend and give more than standard supplements as a recommendation.

Sorry to say, to me this seem like unattainable, in the current world we live in if a Dr does anything slightly off mainstream he will be eliminated... so there goes your search for "Holistic Doctor"

there is a doctor in monsey that does stuff like this. can't remember his name, but if you have instagram I saw Shira from @swaddlebee spoke about him. if you have a hard time getting the info I can find out for you.

What you describe is not holistic. They call themselves either functional or integrative. They use vitamins a lot and also standard methods when called for if vitamins are not enough.
