Nope, I’m happy that my husband is still working. Having him home weekends and evenings is more than enough.

Yes. We have our first baby, B"H, and I feel like I would be very overwhelmed without him, even though he is working LONG HOURS from home!

Yes, I love having him home.

BH now he is back to work but I wish we had a way for him to earn three times more money, from home.

yes. But not all the time. When they are bored, they can be worse than children...

"They" is not a way to define all husbands.

When YOUR HUSBAND is bored, he can be worse than YOUR CHILDREN.

How would you feel if a man said he doesn't want his wife home all the time because "when they [women] are bored, they can be worse than children..."

Some of us - BH looks like many of us, from this thread - have husbands who don't fit your grossly inaccurate, insulting, and made-up stereotype.

This is precisely the context in which it was said. I'm not taking anything out of context here.

She made a generalization which is insulting, inaccurate, and misleading.

Enough with the stereotypes.

You wouldn't tolerate it if the speaker were a man referring to women. You shouldn't tolerate it when the speaker is a woman referring to men.

ENOUGH with the gender stereotypes.

It's funny because I always wanted my husband to be home more and I love when he is around. He was always out of the house for long hours. But now I see that HE has an extremely hard time being home for long hours- especially when the kids are home all day and helping with the kids and house. He was much happier when he had a lot of time out of the house and then can come home and spend shorter amounts of time with the kids etc. He is still working now, but from home and is having a much much harder time than I am in this situation
