Guys, the whole “bugs explode when they’re frozen” is a myth.
I asked one of the Kashrus experts in the area, and it has to do with the wash and freeze method BEFORE they’re shipped on a pallet on a truck somewhere.
There’s no guarantee that any fresh food item, even those from bodek or pardes (I don’t know HOW they check those Brussels sprouts) is bug free. You’re relying on something that can’t be absolutely relied on.
I’ve never ever seen any bug on a strawberry, and that’s just how I’m going to live my life.

I have seen strawberry bugs but they were visible enough with my naked eyes so I feel comfortable eating strawberries that have been washed well and have no visible bugs. The ou supports that, so I'm happy because I'm not entirely convinced that life without fresh strawberries is worth living ;-)
