Anyone have a mushroom soup recipe that does not call for barley or rice - just plain mushroom soup. I don't care if it is milchig or pareve but if its milchig no heavy cream - only milk!

Can't you make any mushroom barley soup and leave out the barley?

I make a very simple mushroom soup without barley.
Grate an onion & saute till translucent. Add a bit flour and mix it well. Chop some carrots, celery, and mushrooms & saute till soft. Add salt, pepper, water and cook afew hours.

I add 1 bag frozen cauliflower to sautéed mushrooms and onions. I then blend together.

Sauté lots of onions and mushrooms In butter, garlic, add white wine, veggie broth, cook, purée and in some milk. Can also add soaked cashews or a potato if you want a creamier texture
