Any tips for first time parents?
We have a family emergency and we have to leave in a week the latest. The flight will be about 5-6 hours long
We plan to bring along our stroller and car seat and baby diaper bag with a bottle formula and diapers wipes, and extra change of clothing.
How do I protect my baby’s ears from the pressure and keep him entertained?
Any tips and advice appreciated.

Nurse or bottle during takeoff.
Bring toys especially new stuff. And some solid snacks.

Another few questions
Does a car seat fit in a place? (We have evenflo nurture)
How do I bring hot water on a plane?
We have a mamas and papas stroller (ocarro version) so I’m wondering how do we check that in. Do we need a bag for the stroller?

You'll give in the stroller right before boarding the plane. It doesn't need a bag, unless if you want to protect it.
I believe most car seats fit on the airplane seat, but you'll need to buy an extra seat. Otherwise they won't let you take it on.
I never take along hot water. You can always ask the stewardess for water.
Don't know about ears.
Safe travels!

The airline will provide hot water.
The car seat gets sent with the baggage. If you can borrow a doona it’s the easiest for this age. Then you don’t need a stroller.
If you need a stroller- IME the one time I put my stroller in a bag it broke. Bring a cheap travel stroller. Better yet a stroller that folds really small and can stored in the overhead compartment.
See if you can get a bassinet. At that age the airplane tend to rock the babies to sleep And it’s really easy.
I was never worried about the ears but maybe cover his ear with a hat.

You should bring something to keep YOU calm in case your baby has a tough flight, a better word is rough flight.😄 Lol! But really serious.
wishing you a calm and peaceful and safe trip!

We bought chocolates for the people around us when we traveled with our twin babies...
If you don’t want to buy an extra seat for your baby I would recommend just getting a baby carrier that way your child is buckled on you at all times and you’re not worried about him

Thank you! I don’t think we’ll be able to get another stroller
Would a bag help?
