That will take a girl from Lakewood who didn’t get into high school? Most I’ve asked have said no.

Bais Chana maybe? It’s in CT and a Lubavitch school, but they are very warm and welcoming to all.

I’m looking for a Bais Yaakov school. Doesn’t have to be the best of anything. Just a school with nice girls. We’re not yeshivish, we’re more the JPF type.

My question though, is will they take a Lakewood girl? Many schools say no because they think Lakewood should take care of itself. They should, but that doesn’t help my daughter.

Maybe you can give pe'er Bais Yaakov a shot. It's a BY type school, small, warm and the principal is kind and compassionate. I don't know if they have an opening etc but it's worth reaching out in my opinion.

It’s not a community school.
They don’t accept many girls from BYBP.
And it’s super yeshivish.
Prospect park is your best bet.
Try to get someone to advocate for you if you don’t get accepted on first try.

The school arranges boarding for the girls. Probably about 1/3 of the girls are from out of Providence— I think all from the NY/NJ metro area. A bunch of them are nice solid girls, but have no interest in a typical cookie cutter lakewood/Brooklyn BY.

Will definitely look into that. Is tuition reasonable?

You may want to speak to people IRL about that school. You may not want your daughter going there for reasons beyond MO/mixed.
