you could also try the leather booties from target, those hold socks on pretty well.

We started putting ds in Robeez, and we finally have socks that stay on.

I put tights on under the pants or one piece, even for my boys. Otherwise it is hard to avoid them being knocked off.

Condor socks are sold at hosiery stores.
But not all of them are the same. Some are looser, etc...

I only ever had success with BabyGap. (And I only have 2 pairs of those, they were gifts. Luckily DS#1 was a summer baby, and was rarely in socks!)

you're my kind of mom! my kids wore nothing but stretchies (well, diapers, of course ) until they outgrew even the biggest size. why make more work for yourself? We dressed them in nice outfits once a year or so for the official formal portrait and then promptly got them back in old reliable. They weren't wearing socks in the portrait and their bare little tootsies are so cute!
No shoes either till they could actually walk.

Robeez. There's a different brand (ministar?) available at Target which are good too.
In general, I've found that the Gap and Old Navy socks stay on longer than socks from the Children's Place...
