Boys name

Chanoch
Chirtzke

Girls name

Zelda
Neni
Nina (I guess that’s short for penina)
Dali

What do they mean? If they’re nicknames what’s the actual name?

Dali might be short for Dalia.

Chanoch is from tanach.

Zelda is Yiddish
https://www.kveller.com/jewish.....elda/

Neni is Mrs in Hungarian, but that doesn’t make sense in the context.

I think Neni means uncle or aunt in Hungarian. Not that that helps.
Chanoch was an exceptional person in Tanach.

I imagine it’s a Yiddish nickname. For what I’m not sure. Maybe Ruchel knows. I think she’s an expert on the origins of names.

Nina is a feminine name in many, many languages, including English and Russian. Also a nickname for Ann/Anna and any name ending in "-nina."

Is Chirtzke masculine or feminine? Sounds very much like a Yiddish diminutive, the way Chatzkel , also shortened to Chatzi, is a diminutive for Yechezkel. My dad had an uncle Chatzi. I thought they called him that as a joke, because he was a BIG man. (Chatzi in Hebrew means "half" so it was like calling him "half-pint." )

Chirtzke might have been a nickname for Hertzka or maybe the name was Chaim Hertzka or whatever and they shortened it.

I'm not sure the meaning of any but I heard of Chanoch-I see few quoted this name is from tanach
Chirtzke, as some pointed out, maybe it's really Hertzke.
Zelda-Zeldy, know of plenty girls with this name
Dali, though I don't know the meaning or source, I know of a certain family who it's a name in their extended family. Not a nickname.
Neni, Hungarian for aunt. Or a name I don't know

Chanoch in tanach lived before Noach.

Zelda is yiddish.

The other names are either not names or nicknames.
