There are many of these Perler bead alternatives on Amazon, but some have complaints in the reviews that they're too small, or other issues.
Some of them seem like good deals, or come in a huge variety of colors. Have you tried any of them, and can recommend a specific set worth buying?

My kids are crazy into the perler beads I found the best place to order was perler.com I also got some off a seller on Etsy I buy the bags of presorted colors depending on what my kids want to create.

It's pretty good except that somehow the shape things got warped while ironing. Could be my kids' fault, I'm not sure what setting they used.
Considering the reviews are pretty positive (after I bought them too, not fraud reviews at the beginning), it's probably not really an issue.
