We’re running out of things to do at home. And the weathers so gorgeous lately. Where can I take my age 9 and under kids that’s not too much of a drive

Depends how far you want to drive. Prospect Park, Marine Park, a few piers in Brooklyn, Jacob Riis Park in Far Rockaway, Coney Island boardwalk/beach, Staten Island beaches, Brooklyn Bridge Park - there's a good list for starters.
