This is a hard one.
People get a set of birchas hamazon cards for the table (the ones that can be wiped down).
A pretty vase.

Either way I'll be following, always trying to get something for my in laws when we move in.

Linen set
Vase with silk flowers or nice center piece
Drinking glasses for shabs
White Tablecloth
Gift card to a place she loves
Or, something she already has but can use new.

Whatever you end up giving, try adding a few gratitude words from your heart. It's very appreciative

Are you a picture person?
Do you have a good amount of pictures from at their house during quarantine? If so, maybe a shutterfly book, with sappy things written throughout about how glad you are to have spent the time, kids bonding grandparents, some meme comments .....

I think this is a brilliant idea. Replace something that is a bit old and worn out.

Maybe they have a beautiful challah board, but you can see knife marks all over?

Maybe they have a lovely mirror for under the candles, but it's ever so slightly chipped?

Another thought, do they have an account at the local grocery? You can always take the money you were going to spend on a present and put it on their grocery account?

Or if they don't usually have cleaning help (even if they do) pay for extra time to "clean up" after you?

Do either of your parents enjoy liquor? A bottle or two (let's say one whiskey and one liquor) can be a very lovely gift. Either a known bottle or something they've not had before/in a long time.
