My baby is 9 months old and has 3 almost 4 teeth. I didn't remember that they eat real meals at this age. Good to know.
Mine has been eating scrambled eggs and bread for breakfast and won't settle for anything else!
Lunch she has a yogurt and I try fruit.. But she doesn't love the fruit much.
Supper I try and save the carrots and sweet potatoes from the soup but good to know she can probably eat chicken.. Didn't think of it.
Oatmeal is probably also good.
I don't love the stage of letting them eat themselves and it all ending up smashed on the floor. But that's how she likes to eat..

My baby is also 9 months old, and I have a difficult time figuring out what to give him because he only wants what my husband and I eat, but he has no teeth.
Oh, and he becomes very frustrated when I try feeding him. He has to eat on his own. Which means it needs to be larger pieces for him to be able to grasp it, but then it's a choking hazard.
Fun times! |
Look into baby led weaning. Sounds exactly like what your baby wants.
