Looking for good recipes, especially using a George Forman. Prefer to avoid frying if possible. Open to all ideas - TIA!

Slice onions. Put a thin layer of onions on the GF. Meat a cutlet with a thin layer of mayo, sprinkle salt and whatever spices you like (I do garlic powder and onion powder) put the cutlet on the onions and top with again with this mixture. Put onions on top and close the GF. It's delicious!

Thank you so much! What does “meat a cutlet” mean? And does it get crispy? The George Foreman I use only has one heat setting. Meaning it’s either on or off. Does that make a difference?

I use an indoor grill pan, that I just put on top of two burners. I put the chicken cutlets in a ziplog bag and add: olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, a drop of cardamom. Shake the bag very well so everything is coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 min, ( but it’s not necessary) then I grill each side 4 minutes, and finish off in preheated oven for 10 minutes. ( the grill pan can go directly into the oven)

Thanks so much! Can you post a link of the type of grill pan you use? It sounds like a big part of getting them grilled “right” is the pan. Maybe George Forman isn’t going to produce the grilled look/marks and feel (firm, not mushy).
