Kosher protein powder

Ds 18 yo wants to buy protein powder to drink after exercise. I’m not sure what to look for. Does anyone have suggestions? TIA

Orgain is one brand I know of.

It's vegan and pareve, I think, which is a strong advantage over whey.

Orgain is good and plant based for any dairy allergies. Costco usually has. I’ve also used maxi health. I try to stay away from whey protein.

Spirutein is kosher pareve. Soy based. And has lots of extra vitamins.
My kids like it.

Natures Twig or Landau Whey Protein powder.
Both have a few decent flavors. Available on Amazon (not always, but cheaper than in store when available) or local Health food store of Jewish pharmacy.

I know. I do that also. But I make smoothie in the morning and during the day and I want to add some protein that doesn’t have bad after taste.

Muscle Milk is kosher but ou-d. It is 100% whey though I don’t know what the concern might be with that.

Then use real food and don’t put powder in. Get the protein another time. Or eat boiled eggs. Way better than smoothies.

Protein powders are often milchig...
If it's vegan, it's mostly gluten... don't know if that's healthy...

Drink a glass of milk after exercise. Will help the same, but costs less money.

many kinds are kosher. whey is the most delicious but very $$$$. you can get pareve protein powders at most drug stores, whole foods and even trader joel

Gluten comes from grains, usually wheat. There is no gluten in whey.
Whey comes from milk. To be cholov yisrael it’s much more expensive.

I don’t think any protein powders have wheat gluten.

It's not cholov yisroel, but this one is my favorite
I drink a large protein smoothie every morning and don't need to eat anything until lunch.

no. I don't think that there are many choice for cholov yisroel, other than flavor.

I think maxi health has it in two flavors
