They did this at NYU, Mt. Sinai and Lenox Hill.
Also, BP and Williamsburg Hatzolah....
Im glad they appreciate it. Dh worked hard for it, working on it before pesach (he came home past midnight on bedikas chamatz night because of this, my kids went to sleep missing it....) and on chol hamoed pesach. It really put a damper on his/our yom tov.

It's nice they gave out gifts. But if I was getting a gift, I wouldn't appreciate someone sticking a microphone in my face asking me, have you ever received a thank you like this? Etc. Basically trying to elicit a big gushing thank you, which comes across as self serving tbh.
Just give the gift without trying to promote how wonderful you are for giving it in the first place....

I was thinking that as well, but we dont know if the owners of B&H asked Mark Appel to ask that question.
