Does anyone have any suggestions for a great place to stay on shabbos? We are not looking for the hotel, per say, but rather an area that is fun to walk around on shabbos. Preferably somewhere really pretty and interesting. Something on the water/near the water would be ideal, but we'd also consider a really cute city.

TIA!!

I don’t know if any of this is relevant now during covid but we’ve spent Shabbos in the following and loves them all: Saratoga Springs, Montreal, Toronto, philly historic district, Georgetown Washington DC, Newport.

Another vote for DC. We spent a lovely Shabbos there and had a beautiful Shabbos walk among the famous buildings. We never spent Shabbos in Newport, but have really enjoyed our weekday visits, and it would seem like a lovely place for a Shabbos walk among the mansions and along the water. We've also had some amazing Shabbos walks in Boston along the Charles River and among the historical buildings. Montreal and Toronto are out because the Canadian border is closed.
