I left my husband with the kids for an hour to go to the dentist, he left the meatballs on a high flame and they completely burnt. The house smells so so bad. Upstairs, downstairs. It’s horrible. Left windows open overnight but didn’t help much. What else can I do?

Did you take the burnt food/pot out of the house?

Boil some water with fresh citrus peels lemon/orange and cinnamon sticks. Once it’s boiling let simmer. Makes the house smell heaven!

You can camouflage the smell. The actual smell takes a few days to go away.

Leave a few plastic bowls filled with vinegar around...2 in the kitchen, whatever you need upstairs...that always does it for me
