I’m curious what age the counselor running a small backyard day-camp should be if you would feel comfortable sending your kindergartener?

I’d be ok with high school age counselors but definitely a mature adult 18+ as the head.

It depends how big the camp is and how good/ experienced the counselor is. If it's just a handful of kids and the counselor was really good and especially if there was a mother around, which could be now that so many work at home or if she had a friend co-counselor, going into high school would be fine with me. Where I live, that's an age of 14 turning 15.
