Insanity!!! Why isn't anyone doing anything about this?!???

I'm in Flatbush and the amount of fireworks every night until crazy hours is driving me crazy!!!
How is everyone dealing with it??

Maybe the fireworks are part of a larger "protest". There are no rules if it's a protest.

Im im bp/kensington. Its still going on. Im tired.just about everytime I fall asleep- another round go off. My toddler is tossing in his room every time as well. And although we called the cops- no difference.

I just turn the lights off, go into bed and watch the fireworks show right outside my window. Its nice. And I turn on the ac so I cant really hear the noise. That is how I deal with it Rolling Eyes

When the mayor says that the cops are trash and encourages this behavior then this is what his city will look like. If anyone gets arrested they’ll be released right away anyways. Right? Whatever the cops will do they’ll get beaten up and blamed anyways. What a crazy scary city NYC has become. #blm(not)

Same in crown heights. I didn't fall alseep till after 3.
My kids complain about it too every night. I also hear it on the baby monitor magnified.

I’m in CT and it’s ridiculous here too!! My dogs were terrified and no one could sleep. I don’t mind the fireworks at a decent time, but after midnight is too much.

I woke up at 4:30am from crazy booming fireworks and couldn't fall back asleep. It sounded so close, I was afraid to be near the window.

The situation is crazy! They're terrorizing people and people are getting burns.
Cops are afraid to touch a black guy.
By this behavior they're causing us to be afraid of black people and they're showing us that they're low life thugs. Black lives matter???? Let them prove that their lives matter by not doing dangerous things.
Behave like a normal person and you'll get treated like a normal person!!!!
