My son is going to go there this upcoming year. What would you like to know? He's my first child going to Shaarei Adirim, so I don't really have that much more info than anyone going for an interview would get.

What type of boys are there?
What is the curriculum?
How is the supervision?
What made you choose it for your DS?

From what I hear the one in Lakewood/Monsey is completely different from the one in Chicago. Which one are you looking into?

The best way to get information is to call them. They have a lot of extracurricular built into the day. But they also have regular learning and English studies. They work with IEPs and evaluations.
I just realized that you said your son was 16 years old. I'm pretty sure Shaarei Adirim in Chicago only takes students from 9th grade. They won't take a student entering a higher grade. It could be that shaarei arazim in monsey would take students entering other grades. I just don't know.
