I want to make a slideshow from all the photos/videos I have of my daughter from this school year.
I downloaded several apps like iMovie, slideshow, videoMusic but I can’t figure it out. One of them gives background music which is fine but I want to take away the music when it’s a video clip.
Some of them won’t let me adjust the photos to fit full screen and some photos will be chopped off..
please help me out here

Then your laptop comes with a movie maker app. Did you try that one yet? It's worked for me in the past...

How do I transfer the photos from my phone? And I don’t recall seeing a movie maker app on my laptop it’s pretty old but will check it out. Thanks

Just do it in Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides. You can easily insert photos or videos into slides and create a nice presentation. You simply play the slide show when you are ready to share it.

I am hooked on iMovie!! I love it!
It really did take me time to learn it... learned on the job. ..
The more I use it the more I realize how awesome it is and how much I love it.
Do you have specific questions?
With iMovie, the music automatically fades when a video clip is playing ... and you can adjust the settings
