My 14 year old's shoes look horrendous. And him having flat feet doesn't help much. I bought him Geox slip-ons and the leather is so soft, his feet are spilling in every direction. He ends up shuffling around like he's in slippers.
There has to be a better shoe out there... one that still "fits in" with what's worn in his chevra.
I wish he'd just where a pair of sneakers, but that is wishful thinking
Are there any brands with the Geox look but that have a stiffer leather and a more supportive fit?
I'd spend money to keep his feet in better shape.
I've given him arch support orthotics in the past, but have a hard time fitting them into these types of shoes.

My son wears the ecco classic moc 2.0. Takes out the insole and puts in his orthotic. Runs big.

Thank you, just found it at Nordstrom.
How's the leather? Is it stiffer or floppy? (I've had it with floppy!)

Found them on Zappos... do you know which of the two models your son wears?
The Classic moc 2.0 ? Or the Classic Moc 2.0 Slip-on?
They look similar but one is $40 more than the other.

I'm sorry op, I wasn't following the thread. The shoe is pretty stiff, my son puts it on with a shoe horn. I can't tell the difference in the pictures either, but I think I paid around 160, so probably the expensive one.
