We are renting a house for a few days. We have no experience with these things.
PLEASE help by providing ideas of fun activities to do as a couple or with our young children in, around, or out of the house. For example - roast marshmallows/hot dogs, stream or waterfall hiking, fruit picking, WHAT ELSE?!

I can research activities in the area. I was more asking for filler activities to bring along for pockets of time we may have or things that others have enjoyed on their own family vacations.
