The idea that Covid19 originated in the Wuhan Lab was at first just a conspiracy theory. But with time and investigation, clues are surfacing which prove that something fishy was at the source. I don't think the virus was deliberately let loose on the world like some other people do, but I do think it somehow leaked out from the lab.

Oh, I agree 100 percent. Leaked from a lab unintentionally and the leak was covered up. No doubt.

To clarify:
Several years ago, researchers in an area found a new coronavirus in bats, which is similar to the current new coronavirus that is also believed to have come from... bats in that area.
What am I missing?

It's bats from a different area.
That they held onto it. That it mysteriously disintegrated sometime "in 2020, in early January or maybe even at the end of last year, I don't know." That the virus didn't mysteriously evolve in nature from bats to humans. That it didn't originate in the wet market. And whole more bunch of information we might not ever know.
