Dc had a black thing on skin. Seemed stuck inside so I used the tick tweezers to remove it. I still had a hard time squeezing it out. It looked kind of smashed when I got it out & before I had a chance to fully analyze it, it disappeared. It definitely didn’t seem like a live thing though.
We were in an area over the weekend where there are ticks.

Yes, suspect it was a tick. I'd have DC tested for lyme, just in case.

(If it is lyme, PLEASE insist on antibiotics for at least 6 weeks, that's the only reliable way to knock it out before it becomes chronic.)
