I allow my children to watch videos VERY VERY rarely. And when they do watch, it's only jewish stuff. Uncle Moishy, Malkali, Hasc, etc. I do not allow any violence, guns, etc.
I picked up this DVD with an innocent enough name: "the cow that kept shabbat". I figure, it's a beautiful story from the gemara, so that's great. We turned it on. So far the only thing I've seen in about 20 mins or so is previews for other movies put out by the same pple: guns, terrorists, dead pple, etc.
Why do they put previews like this on a video that's geared for really little kids????!!! Also, I'm beginning to think that the ONLY thing this DVD has is a bunch of previews
Yup! Suspiscions (sp?) confirmed. This will go back to the store tommorrow. it does NOT have 'the cow that kept shabbat' on it AT ALL!! What chutzpa!
