Looking for toothpaste for a baby (under a year old) that has fluoride. The pediatrician specifically said it should have fluoride but the only ones I find are either fluoride free or say for kids 2+ years.
TIA

Do they even make fluoride toothpaste for under 2?
Maybe your doctor meant for you to buy toddler toothpaste with fluoride and just use a small amount?

I only use flouride free, safe for swallowing for that age because they are too young to rinse and spit and they should not be swallowing regular toothpaste.

They don't make floride toothpaste for babies because it's not safe for them to swallow it. Please find a new pediatrician.

I emailed the pediatrician and this is what he said. Just as a BTW...
“The old recommendation was to brush with toothpaste without fluoride until the age of 2. The new recommendation is to use toothpaste with fluoride as soon as they have teeth To brush. Would use a tiny smear and not worry about it if a small amount is ingested. “
