I did this, and also a cup after the fast. I normally drink three cups a day.

I voted 2 cups, but in reality it’s sometimes 1 and sometimes 2 but not because I NEED at least 2. I just don’t strictly limit to 1 either.
FTR today it was 2.

I minimize ANY drink when a fast ends at 10:00. Ok, a cup or two but I want to sleep.
I don't even drink coffee past late AM I'm so sensitive to caffeine.

I made a big container of decaf iced coffee for after the fast. Guilt free, everyone enjoyed and slept well, and we had leftovers for breakfast today.

You left out an option: No, why would I want to? Especially since after a fast I want a beverage I can knock back fast, not something I have to sip delicately over fifteen minutes.
I have never had caffeine withdrawal, but then I'm not a caffeine junkie. I drink coffee for the cozy feel of a hot mug in my hands, as an excuse to eat cake, as a social exercise with other people, as a way of stretching my milk when dieting strenuously, and for the taste.
You guys do know that there are caffeine suppositories you can use before/during a fast?

Tisha b'Av and YK I take a caffeine pill dry — as per the custom of my LOR many years ago. YMMV.
