What are sensible ways for people age 50+ to reduce risk of catching Covid, when in a Hotel/Motel (besides social distancing)?

wear a mask all the time
sanitise surfaces after touching them
sanitise bathroom after each use
do not share towels, plates, cutlery, cups etc

This would be a stay in a Hotel where once we're there, wed be eating our own food, using a provided kitchen, and be in the rooms strictly with family, who all have been together since March.

Ask for a room that hasn't been used or cleaned in 24-48 hours, see if you can check in via app to avoid contact with a person at the front desk, ask if they offer keyless rooms, wipe down commonly used surfaces upon arrival (doorknob, lightswitch, counters, faucets, etc.)

We bought our own linen and towels in addition to wiping everything down with Clorox wipes, upon entry.
