Does anyone here read the Yated?

Did you read the story about the contractor whom Hashem helped in the nick of time to pay his mortgage? Was anyone else has horrified as I was?

I don't want to be mekatrig yidden, but coming on the thread of how do we afford chasunahs, this really started me thinking....

Oh, sorry, I don't have this in front of me. You're probably right.

Did you read it?

I read a story about a couple who needed to pay their mortgage and a minute before it was due they miraculously got a payment from someone.

These stories never sit well with me.

The part that bothered me was that he was a contractor for the frum community and he was never paid.

????

Contracting is not a necessity, it's not like bread and water. If you can't afford to pay the contractor how do you hire him????

When I was in bais kaila. They bought in a speaker who went on for an hr telling stories exactly like this 1. Her father was a rosh yeshiva and everytime they were pressed for money something miraculously showed up in the mail... tuitions, refunds, state money etc. I think a lot of us walked away dumbfounded..
