I didn't know you can rent for so much in Lakewood.

What do you think my house is worth? Curious, im not looking to rent it out.

7 bedrooms- all bedrooms have 2 beds except master has 1. Have a crib, pack n play and toddler bed available. 3 couches that have pullout beds if needed.

I have a pool, swingset, and a small farm in the back. House is very private, can not be seen from the road. Tons of trees etc.

I already started another thread but I'll add it here.

My house is available for rent in Westgate from Friday 1 pm until Sunday 5 pm.

It has 4 bedrooms, 2 beds in each. Two rooms sleep 2 (separate beds so couples are okay) and the other two are bunk beds. Large living room/dining room, large EI kitchen, and playroom on the first floor. Back porch. Dining room table accommodates 10 comfortably +2 extra stools if you have more people.

Great for family that wants to host for Shabbos in Westgate.

$600 or best offer. Includes linen. Negotiable if you bring your own linen.

Please email westgaterental2020@gmail.com

You won't find a house with a pool for $1500, I've made dozens of phone calls. Even without a pool, most charge $1700-$2200, depending on the size of the house. With a pool most charge between $2300-$3000. A large well kept house can easily go from $3000 Thursday-Sunday.

I don't know where you got your numbers from. But I've gotten homes for a weekend for way cheaper. Yes with a pool!!

We have a pool. I had no idea you could rent a house for so much. Where do you go for shabbos while renting out?

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion. But I wouldn't want people using my kitchen. You just never know about kashrus, people can unknowingly make a mistake in an unfamiliar kitchen and you'd never know.

Walking distance to a shul? With a kosher kitchen?

My sister in law in Toms River told me that people in her neighborhood rent out for well over 3k. Maybe 5-6 bedrooms with pool.

Yes,
Don’t get too excited 😏
It’s a very simple and old house.
It does have an indoor pool though, and a nice big property.
It’s advertised in the Ami Living if anyone is interested.
You can ask them to email photos.

I'm sort of a private person so I'm not super comfortable renting my house. It is tempting though.

No one said how much such a house would rent for.

Regarding the farm part we have goats, sheep, bunnies and chickens right now. We have a pond also with frogs and fish.

Hi, I'm looking to rent a house/basement/apt in Lakewood for the second week of August, for around $700.
I don't need a huge, beautiful house, just needs to be big enough to sleep 6. (3 bedrooms is perfect. Probably could make do with 2.)

It really depends on the supply and demand market.
I know for sure that people in Toms River with a pool are getting close to 3k Thurs-Sun. But maybe you can't compare it to Lakewood. In TR you usually get a big property, big house and a nice pool.

If you break it down per night it's not so insane. I'm telling you, I used to be a veteran homeaway.com weekend booker. We went away quite often.
We gave up on renting with a private pool as the prices were at least 800 a night for houses that didn't even have as many bedrooms as the Jewish houses have, and it wasn't near any kosher food or shul (which both increase the value).

Would I pay 3k for a weekend? No. But others definitely would.
