Would you notice if someone wears the same color every day? Different clothes, but they have a closet full of different styles in the same color?

If I could wear the same exact outfit every day, then I would.

Some people have a signature color. I do.

Many women wear lots of black. No one notices. Something other than black, people do notice.

Honestly I would find it pretty strange if someone wore only pink for example.

This is me!

Most days you'll find me wearing blue. All shades of it: turquoise, teal, light blue, navy blue, denim, etc. Look at my wardrobe of shirts and at least half of them are blue.

I do make sure to have variety in color, but I learned long ago that looking good is more important than variety.

I notice but if it looks good on you then I notice that too. I know some people who wear a super limited palette of colors (like 4) but they always look fabulous bc its their colors.

It is weird, unless you are talking shades of a neutral color (black/grey/brown). Lots of people wear black every day.

But to wear green every day is weird.

Then again, I buy the same shirt in 5 different colors and wear that, so I don't exactly follow the fashion rules myself.

I would find that weird, but only specifically because of Legally Blonde.

as others have said some people just look better in certain colors. I know someone who didn't like black. Instead she wore and probably still wears lots of purple. It's funny because I have different coloring then her but I've started to wear more purple because I've noticed that I also look good in certain shades of it. Probably different shades then her but still purple Wink

I wouldn’t find it funny at all.
If anything it makes a lot of sense- they figured out what color looks good on them .

As I am not the most fashion-observant person, it would probably take some time for me to notice unless it were a really jarring color like bright yellow. I do have coworkers who wear a lot of one color--not ONLY one color, but a lot. Let's say 4 days out of 5. So what? They like the color, like the way it looks on them, wear it because someone once told them it brings out their eyes or makes their skin look creamy, who cares? Good for them, they should enjoy it.

That being said, I had a coworker who wore the same pair of slacks for a whole year. Different shirts, same slacks. At first I thought she must have bought half a dozen of the same slacks--some people do buy basics in bulk. But after a while it became clear that these were the very same slacks being worn 5 days a week, week after week. This I thought was pretty darn weird. I even asked her once "Is there a reason you wear only black slacks?" (Trying for tact, you see, as if I didn't notice they were the same ones.) She said "Yes, because I'm bottom-heavy and black gives a slimming impression." A couple of years later she confided that she once did an experiment: wear the same slacks for a year and see if anyone notices. She thought nobody did because no one said anything. But if I, Olivia the Oblivious, noticed, you can bet your paycheck everyone else did, too. (Ever tactful, I expressed amazement and did not say what was in my mind, to wit: Honey, you didn't fool nobody.)

I'm drawn to the same colors. If an item comes in burgundy, chances are I will choose that over another. Most of my clothes are burgundy, gray, navy, or black. If I find something that I like in another color, I would still buy it, but if it comes in the aforementioned colors, I'll be more drawn to those. Which is also why my children and I usually end up matching.

What’s your signature color? Is it because you look good in it or you like the color for everything (like housewares, too)?

If a woman wears only black it’s really noticeable to me.

Actually Elle didn’t always wear pink. On her first day of school she wore green and for her internship she wore black:
