I need my OWN water bottle that none of my kids will touch so that I can accurately track how much water I'm drinking. Until now I used the disposable Mayim Chayim ones and refilling them. Even after I colored one up with a huge smiley face, my kids still drink from it when the other bottles are empty. Enough is enough.

I love these because they keep water cold all day even in the heat, in addition to some other features. We each have our own color, although I can’t say we never share.

The first one - does the top have a straw or something else to drink from, or is it just an open and you gulp? It's a beautiful bottle.

I’ve been wanting to try the foldable water bottles. I know someone linked to one on amazon that they were happy with but now I can’t find it.

Here’s the amazon bestseller list though, so you can fall down the same rabbit hole I did Smile

Could be but we love it. No complaints. And I love that the bottom unscrews because often they’re hard to clean well.

ETA interestingly it has more stars on amazon.

I’m very happy with my contigo, but the straw needs to be cleaned or it gets yucky. My kids love my water bottles no matter what though and it’s the only way I can get them to drink.

I'm one step ahead of where you started: I started a thread about it! LOL

This looks like a good option.

How do you clean it? Do you find that after awhile, the silicone gets moldy?

Oy. Leaks how? Like if you hold it upside down?

So how do you clean the straw?

My brother gave me a Contigo travel thermos for my birthday and while it's great at keeping my coffee hot, I love it even more for my water. It keeps it nice and cold, it's totally spill proof, I can even drink from it while laying in bed with no mess. I use it as my water cup even at home, because otherwise my kids will take my water or I'll misplace it. This one my little kids can't even figure out how to drink from so it's great.

Contigo seems to be the company most recommended. This one is smallish though; I'd need to drink four of these a day.
