Hi, Baruch Hashem I’m going to be doing this for the first time so any pointers are appreciated!

Mainly
-Where can we purchase a bracelet?

Also
-What is protocol with the jeweler, ex: can we ask to take a few to give the girl choices without first paying for all of them?
-What is stylish today in this regard?

Thanks for any and all help!

Allegra and they have a special of you get a certain amount of pieces of jewelry for a kallah

You can also bring a few pieces home and then let the kallah choose or you can bring the kallah there for her to choose

I know of someone that sells wholesale, but when stores shut for Covid he was selling pieces to private people at wholesale prices. He's in Brooklyn. If you are interested, I can find out the info for you.

I like her stuff too, and she's reasonable.
I would see if she lets you take a few, I'm not sure what her policy is.
For any other jewelry, you can go in with the kallah and ask the sales person privately to show only whatever is in your budget.

I'm not sure which community you're part of, the one I'm part of bracelets are between $1600-$2200. That is not to say that you can't do $1200 if that's your budget, and some of us have $2500 bracelets as well.

I posted upthread that I'd heard of someone that sells wholesale to private people since Covid... The person that told me about him sent me a picture of the ad that was advertised a few weeks back.

Thank you so much for all of your helpful replies. I’m sorry that I did not qualify that I’m located in Brooklyn! I appreciate all of the information.

Someone asked, so I’d say this couple falls into the jpf camp, if that matters for any of the ‘protocols’ of the engagement.

As it is, making a simcha during this time period will be a whole new ballgame What
(Of course we’re so grateful to have the simcha no matter what the challenges of today are.)
