Yes, they're open.

Bnos was open as a day camp only.
They were keeping to the letter of the law.

We know it's still around. But it's only 1% of tests coming back positive in NY. I'm not worried.

Dont be worried. Instead live as if there is no pandemic in the entire world and see what happens.
And what of the 1% who are sick? And of their families?
This drips of selfishness and of ones head in the sand.

Its from people coming and going from and to all over the world.

ITS JUST NOT OVER. And unless every country closes their borders, it wont be over for a very long time. Even in NY!!!!!!!

How are Israeli meshulachim still traveling back and forth? There are none in my area.
The recent cases in my area have been traced back to travel to Florida.

Off everyone would just be a mask we could stop this from rexploding and taking more lives. We could then say it was for nothing. And never be the wiser.

Why does our community choose to believe we know more!

How many ppl have died already. The brand new area of the Lakewood cemetery has so many fresh mounds. It is heartbreaking to see!

Obviously not.

What does one thing have to do with another?

There will always be 1% of people sick. People testing positive now don't actually feel sick. More people are testing now because camps and businesses are requiring it so more tests are coming back positive.
As of now in NY, the flu is more dangerous than covid.

Nobody in Brooklyn thinks or doesn’t think it’s over. We can’t know.
But it’s low enough in Brooklyn that we can go about our regular life again.
We can’t live in paranoia forever.

If it starts again, we’ll have to lock down again. But for now, I’ll live my life, thank you.

Live your life.
Just wear a mask when not 6 ft from non family members.
It can be a game changer.

Where did I say that? I said 3 cases doesn't qualify as a second wave I wouldn't be concerned.

This is exactly why I don't go into crowded stores and prefer stores where people wear masks.

Yup.... the bungalow colony I'm in is owned by an Israeli family. They are here, along with four of their married children.
Two weeks after landing, a handful of them had fever and cough!!! They did not test for covid so we don't know if they had it or not. But they stayed indoors until they felt better. Thankfully, no one else in the bungalow colony got sick.

Rockland county (Monsey is part of Rockland) has had a few new cases every couple of days. So 3 cases that you have heard about is nothing new. Sullivan county has a new case or two every week or so.

If the people who are exposed to anyone who has covid will test or quarantine then a second wave can hopefully be prevented or pushed off.

IMO it’s too soon after too many people have gotten it for a legit second wave in Rockland yet. But I’m not a medical professional.

What else are you worried about that 1% of people in the entire israel have?

Selfish is people who politicize medical treatments to pressure people into not taking them.

Positive? As someone who distances , mask, etc seriously, were they positive with symptoms? Are they first timers or repeats? The tests give lots of false positives & false negatives. They are truly not reliable.

Is Camp Bnos even open? My nieces who were supposed to go told me it didnt open.

The overnight camp never materialized. They have a day camp program only for this year - so only campers with summer homes in tje Catskills were able to attend.
