This would have been much more moving if it had followed the chronological progression, showing the Temple service, then the Romans massed outside Jerusalem, then bringing the war machinery, then breaching the outer city walls, then breaching the inner city walls, then approaching the Temple, breaching ITS walls, entering it, stripping it of its treasures, culminating with setting it afire, and closing with an image of the Temple being rebuilt or the image of the modern-day Kotel plaza.

Showing the Temple torched at just 30 seconds in ruins the effect. The torching is supposed to be the clim@x, not the intro. And the flipflopping back and forth between the Temple being destroyed and the Temple in its glory is just plain confusing. I understand that the idea was probably to contrast the Temple in its heyday and the Temple in ruins,perhaps something like the kinnah "betzeiti mimitzrayim/betzeiti miyrushalayim" but this video didn't do it for me.

Nice try, though, and I appreciated the historically correct details like the movable towers and the "turtle" formation of the Roman legions.

ETA I cannot believe that the imamother censor changed the word "clim@x". I assure you that I didn't put in an @ instead of an a. clim@x is not a dirty word. It's not even a suggestive word except to people with dirty minds.

Extremely well done, amazing graphics.

We need to all remember that just like Pharoh, the Romans were only a finger of G-d. Nothing in this world happens unless Hashem allows it to happen. The Romans were just a tool, nothing more.

We lost the Temple because we couldn't stop squabbling about petty things, and we were divided amongst ourselves. Brother against brother, sister against sister, child against parent.

If we do not rise to the level of bringing the Third Temple, then we will fall to the lowest level before it comes.

Please Hashem, restore the Temple so we can serve you as in days of old, soon and in our lifetimes!
