Falafel with all the trimmings- Israeli salad, red cabbage, pickles, techina (if that's ok)- served with grilled eggplant instead of pita.

Start with your protein source (not even sure what your options are vegan and nut free) and then we can help you build an easy meal around it.

My nursing baby is allergic to animal protein and nuts, but just found out that he’s not allergic to salmon and chicken. I don’t want to eat either of those after a fast 🤢. So I’m stuck being vegan.
Usually, I stick with those proteins. I also eat a lot of impossible beef, which is made out of beans. But that’s also too heavy.
I think I’m just gonna make a smoothie. I like the falafel idea, I just don’t have any of the ingredients besides falafel mix and pickles!

Ouch that’s hard. I assume eggs are no good? What about lox? Tuna?

No eggs. No tuna. No fish in the sea, except for salmon. I’m not a lox kinda gal, and a filet of salmon after a fast is just not for me
