The Rav is leaving/has left. He's gone. Therefore, it doesn't matter any longer what happened. We ALL want to move on. The only way this community is going to take off if people come here and help it to grow.

What type are the 14-20 families who live there now? Are any of them heimish chasidish? Or all chasidish belonging to a specific chasidus? Do all the women wear beige tights? Anyone with wigs a few inches past shoulder length? Anyone with trim beards? What about the families moving in the near future? Also, what do the kids in school look like? All kraseldige peyos?

The families are of different Chassidic groups, Skvere, Belz, Satmar, Rhizin. The men are more the type that would be willing to move out of town, so, therefore a bit more open minded (if you know what I mean). The men have smartphones mostly. Many of the wives wear longer sheitels or tichels, there is one of the men with a trimmed beard. The women wear beige tights or stockings. All kraseldige payos from what I've seen for the children.

But doesn't a community need a Rav?

The one woman I know there wears a longer wig, black tights, and drives.

Yes, we do need a Rav. If you know anyone who wants to go out of town to build upon what we have.....
