I would like to reorganize my toy closet. Over the years, bins/covers have cracked and we now have assorted mismatched bins, with or without covers. I would like to reorganize and have everything coordinated. Can you please share what bins you have and love? Bonus points if you share a link. Thank you!

Sterilite from Wal-Mart. I had the square bins before (have this wooden cubes), got dents and misshaped pretty quick. And I much better like now that I can see what's in which container.

Sterilite makes a few different ones. Is it the cheapest one with plain white lid?

I like the sterilite clearview latchtop bins. We have mostly 27 quart (3 fit our closet side by side), and for smaller toys the 15 quart size stacks 2 together to be the same size as the 27 quart. So it's all very neat.

What works for me or a pp or your neighbor won't necessarily work for you.
Measure your spaces, height, depth, width. Allow a margin for space between bins that are side by side, plus space between the top of the bin and the shelf above it. You will need these margins or you won't be able to remove the bins easily or fit them back in without difficulty (if at all). Make allowances for baseboards and brackets holding up shelves, if any.
Decide if you want clear or opaque bins or if you don't care either way. Decide also if you want bins with lids or without. There are pluses and minuses to each.
Once you have your measurements, look online or, better yet, go to the store, find bins that appeal to you, measure them to see if they will fit, and if so, how many will fit on each shelf.
It may be beneficial to buy several different sizes for different-sized toys. A 30-gallon bin full of half-inch Legos is a pickup disaster waiting to happen.

are the sides straight on the hefty. I have two bins from the container store and I really like how it's straight as opposed to slanted...

Before investing in ANY bins, purge your collection. You may end up needing fewer bins, or different bins. Most children have way too many toys, and even preschools purge now and then.

I get to Lowes' often enough but have never ordered bins from The Container Store. I have no opinion of their bins one way or the other.

I like the sterilite clip boxes though if you need huge huge boxes I don't think these come in large size. I like how they stack nicely and I think they have a clean look to them. They are easy for the kids to open. They only downside is the handles fall off sometimes. They can be put back on though.
When I was organizing I purchased a few different styles and brands and decided which I liked best and returned the rest (I ordered online, not everything was available in store). Main thing is to make sure everything is the same so they stack nicely and look uniform.

I recently bought the toy storage system from ikea. It’s the easiest most convenient storage for toys. My closet looks so much nicer.
