My child (8-12 years old) had been feeling weak, nauseous, and neck hurting for two days now.
Slept for hours shabbos afternoon when told to try to take a nap.
No fever.

Is this how covid presented with any children you know?

Should I call doctor or wait until Monday?

Start with an exam of her throat and a rapid throat culture. Let the doctor take it from there.

If your child has a high fever or rash with those symtpoms then you should call the doctor tonight. Otherwise could be a stomach bug- was she swimming? Refuah shalaima.

It could be although it usually presents with a 24hour high fever. Definitely keep an eye on him/her. It doesn’t hurt to call the dr and get their opinion.
Also the things that you should look for:
Red eyes
Rash
Stomach ache
NECK PAIN
TIREDNESS
Fever

These are the signs of the multi organ inflammation accompanying Covid in children.

My 3 year old recently had similar symptoms to your child but with a high fever. I took him to the emergency room where they ran a bunch of nasal swabs including Covid. BH Covid was negative although the pediatric was sure he had it a different virus came back positive from the nasal swab series. He was fine in a few days to a week.BH
