On a number of threads recently, people keep suggesting a chiropractor or cranial sacral therapist that dramatically improved their baby/toddlers behavior.
1) does anyone have recommendations in Brooklyn
2) does insurance cover it?
3) anyone did it and saw no improvement?
Thanks!

Hey! I was one of the posters who said I took my toddler. She was calm, manageable, and my younger baby was actually safe in her own house for a change The unbelievable change I saw in her only lasted a day or two unfortunately. I only went for one appt so far, maybe after another it will help. They did tell me she had toxins in her liver (she had eczema as a baby) and it's causing her behavioral issues.
It was a bit frustrating but I'm hoping for the best!
I will try to keep you posted.
I don't live in brooklyn so I can't help you with names... sorry

It takes a few sessions to really stick. Don't give up.
Your DD sounds lactose intolerant. If you haven't already, take her off of all dairy. I'm willing to bet it helps with both her eczema and her behavior.
Switch to fortified almond milk, and things like soy or coconut yogurts with active cultures. If she improves, you can try to slowly introduce goat or sheep cheese, and see if she can tolerate it.
NO cow's milk products. For sensitive kids, it's like throwing gasoline on a small spark. You'll get flare ups like you wouldn't believe.
My DD's dad didn't "believe in allergies", and I could always tell when he gave here dairy, because when he'd bring her home from visitation she'd be a miserable mess for the next 24 hours. Hyper, crying, defiant, loud, can't sit still, can't fall asleep, just plain can't get back to herself. It made me SO mad!

There is an excellent craniosacral practitioner in Brooklyn, who only sees babies. I forgot her name, if you google craniosacral brooklyn babies her name will probably come up.
I go to craniosacral and it helps me so much!

Try - you can’t argue with results. Give me 6 months.

Lisa Matthews- she's somewhere in NJ but she works remotely (don't ask me how that works). She helped me with my baby's tongue tie- 2 sessions and her tongue was really loosened.
She's also an OT.
There's someone in bklyn Chani Schindler- I didn't use her personally but I've heard her name recommended.
People have had all different things helped with CST- for sure worth a try.
I have not heard of it being covered by insurance.
Hatzlacha!

I have not tried her. Feel her out. If you want I can ask my friend, who's a craniosacral instructor, about this woman. |
I only got this Amy name because I googled Brooklyn baby craniosacral and she came up. I have no reason to go to her over someone else. This Elizabeth helped you personally? My baby has feeding issues, I think it’s reflux. Think she’d be good for that?
