DD is 15mo, an only child. She tends to bite us or scratch our hands/faces when she wants attention, or just to see our reaction. What reaction should we be giving her that will get her to stop? I've got no CLUE where she picked up this behaviour...

NO
We don’t bite. We use gentle hands. Nice hands.

Thank you. It seems like she enjoys that reaction though. Any other ideas?

focusing on the positive. Praise her when she is doing things you want her to do. Give her lots of positive attention before as she might be doing it for the attention. Also some children don't hear a no, so when you say no biting, they hear only the biting. Try rephrasing it to the positive-kind hands, nice hands.
Also might be worth investing in some sort of chew toy-special necklace or something that she is allowed to bite on, so if she starts, you can redirect her-we only bite the necklace etc. You could also get some sort of squishy for her hands.

Good luck-a lot of children go through this sort of phase and if you don't give it too much attention it will often pass by itself.
