My ds will be 5 in September and has no interest in playing ball. We try encouraging him to play but even when he is in the mood, he loses interest quickly. He can hardly throw and catch a ball. Is there beginner lessons for his age in Lakewood that would be fun for him that we can send him to?

Is it essential for him to play?
Let him do him. If and when he wants to play, he'll show an interest. Be ready to help and encourage him if that happens. He won't be any happier if he's forced into something he isn't interested in and is no good at.

Get him a T-ball set.
It’s okay if he just wants to read...

Thanks. So he has a t ball set already. He doesn’t have patience playing because he’s not good at it and he gives up easily. All the neighbors his age play ball and he wishes to play too. He’s the type of kid that would love sports once he gets the hang of it. I want him to learn how to play in a relaxed setting without me pushing him.
I was wondering if anyone knows someone that would teach a beginner?
