More vital than this is as someone posted above, licensing regulations. Therapists are only allowed to have clients in states in which they’re licensed.

First off, due to the pandemic, many states have relaxed their rules about telehealth and licensing, so just because you couldn’t see someone a few months ago, it could be that you can see them now.
Many, many therapists are doing zoom now, so you should first look for one that meets your needs, and then find out if she will do zoom, because more than likely, it’s a yes.
I recently reached out to Relief Resources for a similar issue- I was looking for a therapist to help me navigate my challenging relationship with my challenging teenager. I specifically wanted a frum therapist, and there aren’t any in my state. They gave me names of 3 women who work over zoom who would be good for my situation:
Esther Gendelman
Devorah Beller
Rivky Pellman

You should be able to google these women to get their numbers. Or if you have a disposable email address that you can post, I’ll email you their numbers and what I know about them. I am just typing on my phone, so it’s hard to write everything in a post!

is budget an issue, or are u open to anyone excellent?

also invitng anyone who was helped thru a good therapist with issues with daughter HS age - others here waiting to hear positive experience!
