So I'm working for 8 consecutive years. I've had high end jobs in the 3 companies I've worked for.
I've recently moved and trying to evaluate what my next step should be.
I'm not sure I'm in the mood of working for someone again, I'm a mother of kids and would need part time hours. The market out there is very limited when looking for something like this.
I have loads of business experience in so many areas - amazing at the computer and basically extremely tech savvy. I've taught myself so many programs on my own over the years. Very analytical.
I'm just not a very creative type who could come up with a new service idea or new item for sale if you get what I mean. Wondering if sucha thing exists out there to buy off an idea from someone and run with it on my own. Or partner with someone who does something and do the whole back-office of the business as a PARTNER, not an employee?
Any leads would be appreciated

What type of work did you do?

You don't have to come up with a brand new idea.
Start doing whatever you are good at.

Do you enjoy services or products?

If you enjoy providing a service its usually not expensive to start out on your own.

Are you on LinkedIn?
A lot of people there are very helpful to startups.

Following as I’m in the same boat. Don’t have kids yet but I want to move in the direction of more flexibility and shorter hours. Also have a very strong accounting and business background. I guess what’s holding me back is the fear of putting on so many crazy hours of work in the beginning and creating a fee schedule

If you are interested in sales and people maybe something like Mary Kay or Tupperware is for you. I always saw these companies as a framework to start your own small business as you can run it as it fits your schedule and liking.

Mary Kay and such need real good sales woman. I definitely do prefer a service business I just can't see how to find one that's suited for me.
Wondering if someone can recommend a career specialist in the Brooklyn area who can analyze my resume and help me with this
