I’ll stick to my volley ball minhag. It’s fine. All’s good with the world.

At least I know this upfront before I may have accidentally made a shiduch with you.

lol sorry for the confusing descriptor - I couldn't think of a better one (non-braided? egg-shaped).

but yeah, I guess the people who know, know vizehu lol.

I think it might be a chassidishe minhag to do it Friday night, something to do with increasing the specialness of the meal with each meal or something.

My chassan has the minhag and I wanted to surprise him, but also not mess it up lol. good to know a 3 braid strand on top is good - its much prettier than just a line.

Ok, thanks for clarifying.
I think I’ve seen at my sils house an unbraided challah many years ago, and I assumed she was just short on time! Of course I didn’t speak up.
Now I know I missed out on a good game!
What’s the source of this minhag?

I’d like to see a pic of the broomstick leichter too.

Between football and broomsticks I’m tempted to go over for the meal to see what’s going on. I’ll bring my mop sheitel.

Check out Raizyscookin on Instagram. One of her highlights is "Challah." You'll get to see her football challah.

Look at your candlesticks and tell me what you see.

I have been making these challos since I make challos and I never thought they are a football shape.
I guess I don't play football enough.

Want to come this Sunday?

What on earth? I see candlesticks. Why a broomstick?

Will you still have challah on Sunday?

You probably can’t get over that you missed the kiddush. We served football challah. And lit scented broomsticks.

Missed?
How can you miss something that you weren't invited to?

(I am almost getting to the bottom of the pain. So freeing.)

And yes I am doing this tiny lettering again. Because.

I’m not sure what you wrote on the last 2 lines. My chin is in the way when I try getting too close to the screen. I should quit eating challah altogether.
