Is there a pool that I can join that is open year round for women in Flatbush (or any other place, really)? What's the membership fee or is it per session? Is there a lot of members? A lot of chlorine?

don't know how much the membership fee is, but the Boro Park Y (49th and 14th) is open year-round at certain times for ladies/girls. You can also pay per-visit, I'm almost sure. never swam there either so I don't know about the crowd or the chlorine...sorry. If you know anyone with a membership, they can take you as a guest (maybe for a small fee?) and then you can check it out yourself.

in flatbush:
shulamith - membership
young israel of bedford bay- pay as you go
yeshiva of flatbush -- pay every 6 months, comes out to abt $11 per session
kosher gym -- membership
I will post more places if I remember them.

Oholei Torah/Menachem in C.H. also has a pool with ladies hours at night.

Does anyone know the phone numbers to call in order to find out about swimming at Yeshivah of Flatbush, Shulamith, and/or Kingsway Jewish Center? (ie hours, cost of membership, etc.)

IN Boro Park there is a beautiful new fitness center that has a pool at Yeled VYalda 13th Avenue and 38th Street. It's $20 for a one time visit or $60 monthly (with membership). Summer gets crowded. Great personal trainers and swim instructors. Lots of women hours. I love that they have a cleaning lady full time.
