Meyer is an English name.

Meir is Meir.

Meiyer is the chasidish pronunciation I think.

I wish I named my son Meir Yehuda or Yehuda Meir but I was so woozy and weak and blah after the birth of my son and literally that night my husband told me why don’t we call him Betzalel Avraham
I asked him what it meant and he said “In the shade of gd of Avraham”

My son was in the NICU by then and during my pregnancy we had a few scares and the name really fit my son perfectly so I agreed.

Malkiel wasn't mentioned.

There is Michael/Michoel and then also Michel/Mechel which is a different name that goes with Yechiel.

Menachem is a gorgeous name IMO.
