School district - Vent

So frustrated! Been dealing with an incredibly difficult school district, with a staff that is uncommunicative at best and severely out of compliance and incompetent at worst. It’s incredibly frustrating because the more they delay and screw up services approval and IEP’s, reevaluations, etc, the more it prevents students from accessing the support they need. Especially now, when parents and students are desperate. The district has done this for years but they’ve gotten progressively worse in the past two years. Needed to vent, thanks for listening.

They need to respond within 60 days.

If they haven't, please contact the chairperson for your district reminding them that it is past the legal time frame. If that doesn't work, then you need to go higher.

They are so difficult. When I have gone higher (state DOE) the district reps get offended!! Even though THEY are out of compliance and screwing over kids.
