Ds puts a raw egg in his tradition soup. Is it dangerous because the egg doesn’t cook completely?

If the water is hot enough it's probably ok. Egg drop soup!

If it cooks, that’s cool. How did he think of that?

I'm pretty sure it's cooked enough not to be dangerous. Sunny side up is half raw too.

Just because I eat sunny side up and give it to my kids, doesn't mean you should.
How is he making the soup? If he is using the microwave rather than an urn, I would microwave the egg.

There's nothing dangerous with it. If there is I wouldn't trust the meat either

I make mayo with raw eggs. We don’t get sick. We buy food in grocery stores with no ‘farm fresh, poop covered ones’

I make raw egg mayo all the time.
The Japanese have been putting raw egg on hot rice or hot noodle soup for centuries. Raw egg on rice is the most popular breakfast item there. Raw egg in ramen bowls is one of the most traditional additions, along with fish cakes and chopped scallions.
Bodybuilders drink raw eggs in protein shakes, and opera singers drink a raw egg mixed with honey before they go on stage. Chazzonim are known to do the same thing, especially before the High Holidays.
The outside is the part you have to be the most worried about. If you are extremely worried, you can always wash the eggshell immediately before cracking it.

If you put it in before you pour the hot water over it actually cooks all the way through with just the very inside a bit jammy like, even less so than soft boiled eggs.
